Success with Adsense - The Three Top Strategies



An ever increasing number of people are starting internet marketing businesses. One of the primary reasons for this upsurge in numbers is AdSense, Google's incentive pay per click (PPC) program that enables webmasters and bloggers from all over the globe to publish ads on their blogs or webpages.  When readers click on these ads the blog or website owner earns a few cents. These amounts vary depending on the subject and content.

Bear in mind though, not all websites or blogs are created equal and earn cash.

Many webmasters aren't able to satisfy the three critical elements of Google AdSense success. What are these requirements?


1. Cost per click (CPC).

Because AdSense is a pay per click setup, your earnings will partially depend on the price of every click. Being able to target keywords that fetch high prices from AdSense will enable you to earn more.  You can get a hundred clicks every 24 hours, for example, but if every ad merely pays a cent per click, you'd only earn $1 as your prize for the day. But, if an ad is worth, say $0.15 per click, that's an instant fifteen dollars per day, which isn't bad at all for one website. Imagine if an ad pays $1 or $2 per click. That's a goldmine, right?

One way to discover, not only good keywords with many searches and lower competition, but the CPC the advertiser pays is to visit  Google AdWords_ Keyword Tool.  If the advertiser is paying $1 or $2 a click you are more likely to receive a higher amount.  That is not a certainty; however, Google also places value on the quality and originality of your content.


2. Traffic

Visitors are the income producers for any of your online businesses whether you use adsense or any other affiliate or PPC company. You have to generate visitors - a huge number of visitors if possible.  More visitors, more money.  You can use proven internet marketing strategies like search engine optimazation (SEO), blogging, commenting on blogs, exchanging links, back links, classified ads, ads on other websites and maintaining a presence on a number of Web 2.0 sites like Twitter, Hubpages and Facebook just to name a few.

3. Click through rate (CTR)

The CTR is the ratio of people who really click on the ads that appear on your web pages. Your goal is to get a high CTR to succeed with AdSense or any other program. You can get a higher click through rate by ensuring that each web page is basically about one subject, a keyword or key phrase.  The ads on your page should be relevant to your keyword phrase and content.
