Back
With
Color B, CO 67 stitches. Work in Lace Pattern Stitch 4 rows now change
to Color "A" and Stitch. WS: Dec 3 stitches evenly across first row -
64 stitches. Work in Stitches until piece measures six inches from the
start of Color "A". BO 5 stitches and begs next 2 rows. Now Dec 1
stitch at each end and every other row 4 times. Complete using this
procedure.K1, SSK, k across to last 3 stitches, K2tog, K2 - 46 stitches.
Continue
to work even in Stitches until armhole measures 8?". BO 4 stitches beg
next 2 rows. Then BO 5 stitches beg next 2 rows. Place remainder 28
stitches on holder for back of neck.
Right
Front
Select color B CO and use for 40
stitches. Work in Lace Pattern and Stitch 4 rows. Now change to Color
"A" and Stitch.
WS: Dec 11 stitches evenly across
first row - and repeat for twenty nine stitches.
Work
in stitch until piece measures 6 inches from the start of Color A. Next
row (WS): At armhole edge, BO 5 stitches and P across row. DEC 1 stitch
at armhole every other row four times. At same time, DEC 1 stitch at
neck edge every other row four times, then every 4th row 7 times. Now
continue to work even in Stitch until armhole measures 8?". Now BO
shoulders as for Back.
Left
Front
This is the same as the right
side however in reverse.
Sleeves
With
Color B, CO 31 stitches. Work in Lace Pattern and stitch 8 rows. Now
Change
to Color "A" and continue.
WS: Dec 5 stitches evenly
across first row. Now complete 26 stitches.
Next
row (RS): Working in Stitch, including first stitch each end every 4th
row 7 times, then every sixth row eight times. Then complete 56
stitches.
Work even until sleeve measures 18" from beg. BO
five stitches and begs the next 2 rows. DEC first stitch at each end
every other row seventeen times as follows: K1, SSK, and K across to
last 3 stitches, k2tog, K1 BO 12 stitches.
Finishing
Now
sew in sleeves and then seam sleeves and side seams. Now weave in the
ends on WS to complete your child cardigan knitting pattern
