Slipper Loom Knitting Pattern
This
slipper loom knitting pattern is aimed at beginners to intermediates,
based on its relative complexity compared with other similar slipper
patterns. It is important to remember these are general instructions
and the number of rows may vary depending on the size of slipper you
desire. It's always a good idea to measure the foot of the person
before starting to knit and then approximate the number of rows
required from there.
Step 1:
Wrap thirty rows (With different colors if necessary)
Step 2:
Turn for a cuff and knit off (To turn for a cuff, pick up the first row
and place it back on the pegs before knitting off).
Step 3:
Wrap & Knit ten rows
Heel
Step 4:
Wrap pegs 1-14 and knit off
Step 5:
Working on the opposite direction (counterclockwise, towards the thumb
tack,) wrap pegs 13-2, and knit off
Step 6:
Wrap the pegs clockwise again and wrap pegs 3 -12, then knit off
Step 7: Wrap pegs 11
-4 again (working counterclockwise), and knit off
Step 8:
Wrap pegs 10-5 (clockwise) and then knit off
Step 9:
Wrap pegs 9-6 (counterclockwise) and then knit off
Step 10:
Wrap pegs 8-7 (clockwise) and then knit off
Step 11:
Wrap pegs 7-8 (counterclockwise) and knit off
Step 12:
Wrap pegs 9-6 and knit off
Step 13:
Wrap pegs 5-10 and knit off
Step 14:
Wrap pegs 11-4 and knit off
Step 15:
Wrap pegs 3-12and knit off
Step 16:
Wrap pegs 13-2 and knit off
Step 17:
Wrap pegs 1-14 and knit off

Step 18:
Wrap (clockwise) the whole loom and knit thirty-five more rows. Knit as
many rows needed to fit the person.
Step 19:
Remove with the gathering method. Cut the yarn leaving approximately a
foot, 12 inches of yarn, thread the yarn through a large eye needle.
Take the needle and yarn and take off the stitches from the pegs. All
the stitches should be on the yarn. Pull the yarn tight and the slipper
should close up tightly.
