The great thing about being able to knit pom pom's is that you can personalise all you knitting very easily. If you have just designed a new Hat or Scarf you can use a pom pom poncho knitting pattern to really finish the job off.

Before starting you need to understand that this design is for a small women, however should you require it for someone else then you can easily add or remove rows accordingly. This pattern is ideal for women with a thirty three inch chest by sixteen inches.

The gauge is thirteen stitches that is equal to around sixteen. It is important that you consider these aspects before embarking on the actual knitting process. To complete this task you will need a hook, warn and needles.

Starting with the back their should be a cast of fifty three stitches and then on the first row it should be the back with knitting for one, then Purl for one, before returning to knitting one and then duplicating. The second row should start with all ones going; P,K,P and then duplicating over. In the row for the back after row 2 it follows knitting for one, then M1k, then knitting to end stitch. This is followed by the M1K, after knitting for a further fifty five stitches.

This is then done on the three and a half time for two inches in fifty nine stitches. This should continue until a foot away from WS. The holes should then be removed at three stitches in two rows for fifty stitches. Now knit one, then purl with final stitch. In the next row repeat the first for forty nine stitches along. Now complete knitting one, and then knitting thirteen before purling for seventeen stitches.

Good luck with this pom pom poncho knitting pattern! It should help with your knitting tasks in the future.
