Poncho Knitting Pattern
This work
basket-style pattern knits in no time for even the least
experienced knitter. An ideal pattern following exercise, the poncho
will not only look good but hopefully prove to be fun to make too!
Before you start this you will require a few resources; without wool
and needles you won't go far at all. This knitting pattern is for those
around the age of four to six. If you want to make it fit someone
smaller then just remove rows of stitches, whilst if you want to make
it fit someone larger you could likewise add rows of stitches.
The gauge
is not clear on this pattern however this can easily be
decided using your hand as a tool, the design is said to work best with
bobbins on top, and using pastel colors but this is up to the knitter.
A knitter can often make a design unique by choosing colors and adding
finishing touches.
To do this design the knitter will have to learn the P for making
stripes. This is not very difficult and involves one knit, then change
color through to knit forty, and then flip through to the first stitch
and continue for twenty five to thirty.
The first row involves K to all stitches, then turn, then repeat. Now
follow first stitch through the twist until even. At this stage centre
and then reapply. If you are looking for a break this is the best place
to stop after you have completed one hundred and forty stitches across.

Now repeat for WS yet convert. Now do odd rows, and remember that they
remain the same for every odd row (K1, PPSO, Ktog and 33 stitches)
You should then repeat to form a border. This can often make all the
difference to the ascetics of a Workbasket Poncho Knitting Pattern. All
work must be completed in tails to the outset.
This poncho knitting pattern provides a look that is not only stylish,
but practical. Suitable all year round, this knit is sure to quickly
become a favorite!
Good luck with your workbasket poncho knitting pattern!
